Our History
Houston County Equipment was established in the summer of 1986 by Jack and David Beaver as the second Beaver family-owned store. Our original store, Alvin Equipment Company, was started in Alvin, Texas in 1952. HCE started as a Massey-Ferguson tractor and Rhino mower dealer. Case IH tractors and Krone disc mowers  were added to our product lines within just a few years.
The addition of Kubota to our lineup in 1997 proved to be one of the most important steps in growing our business and improving our service to the customers of Houston and surrounding counties. Most recently, we've added Dressta and Hyundai Construction equipment to our lineup.
At Houston County Equipment, we are proud of our long history of customer service and our position as a well-respected, reputable business both in Houston county and the surrounding areas. As the longest-standing dealership in our county, we take great pride in letting our customers know we plan to be here for them long into the future.
